Little Lake

A spring fed specimen lake of one and a half acres stocked with trout up to seventeen pounds in size.

The fish in this lake range from four to over seventeen pounds and are fed on a regular basis in order to supplement the natural food available and maintain their weight and condition. The result is superbly fit resident fish with perfect fins and tails that fight like demons all the way to the net. When the water is too warm Liz & John close Little Lake until it cools again in order to safeguard the fish. The difference between a fully finned double figure fish that has spent over a year in natural surroundings and the equivalent fish straight from the stock ponds needs to be experienced to be believed!

No, it isn't an angler hiding behind the tree. It's the Little Lake scarecrow.
